Veteran visiting Veterans

AccentCare Hospice is seeking active or retired members of the United States military to serve as veteran volunteers.

Through our Vet-to-Vet program, volunteers have the unique opportunity to connect with fellow veterans and make a meaningful impact at the end of life.

Whether you are:

• • Assisting with veteran pinning ceremonies
  • Participating in veteran-centered events
  • Visiting patients for companionship and support

Your time and presence help honor the lives and service of those who have sacrificed for our country.

Our veteran volunteers visit patients wherever they call home, offering companionship, socialization, and support. Volunteers may also assist with legacy projects to celebrate a patient’s life or provide a comforting presence during a patient’s final days.

Even just a few hours a month can make a lasting difference.
