HerNest is expanding its contributor ecosystem and applications are now open.

HerNest is a human-centered systems organization building sustainable implementation infrastructure for nonprofits, innovators, researchers, and community networks across Africa. Our work spans governance systems, fundraising coordination, partnership development, AI-assisted ecosystem coordination, and community-centered implementation.

We are currently in a high-growth phase and are bringing in contributors to strengthen operational capacity across key workstreams.

What You Will Be Doing

Depending on your strengths and interests, you may contribute to:

• Fundraising & Grant Research
• Strategic Outreach & Partnerships
• Research & Opportunity Mapping
• Communications & Visibility
• Documentation & Operational Coordination
• Ecosystem Operations Support

What This Is

A structured remote contribution cohort — not passive volunteering. Contributors work within live organizational systems and gain real exposure to implementation workflows, systems-thinking, stakeholder engagement, and operational coordination.

What We Are Looking For

• Proactive and accountable
• Comfortable in collaborative, evolving environments
• Interested in social impact, systems-building, or nonprofit operations
• Able to contribute a minimum of 5 hours weekly for 3 months
