    Web Developer Position

    Web Developer Position - Volunteer Opportunity - Needed ASAP

    Primary Responsibilities - Operational Management Assistant

      • Assist with updating web pages to ensure site accuracy and currency
      • Diagnose and trouble shoot problems with existing web apps and sites
      • Monitor and report website traffic and performance
      • Manage and provide guidance to founding members of the team
      • Conduct research into current and emerging web technologies and issues in support of web development efforts.
      • Assist with format and publishing ebulletins, using Mail Chimp.
      • Assist with publication of website event notes, banners, logos, other graphics and videos

    Qualifications:

    Formal Education, Training and/or Experience

    Computer literacy, experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, Outlook, WP Engine, website builder template, Hootsuite and Mail Chimp a plus

    Must be extremely detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy, proofing, spelling, and errors

    Requires good grammar and writing ability

    Siblings Day Foundation (SDF), a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization is looking for volunteers to assist with our campaign to establish a National Siblings Day by spreading the word about Siblings Day (April 10th) through our website and other social media outlets.

    Work from home position, lead your own interesting project, devise strategies to promote the commemorative day, great interesting work, 2 to4+ hours a week for 2-3 month commitment.

    The Siblings Day Foundation (SDF) is the leading advocate for the recognition and celebration of sibling relationships. Founded in 1995 by Claudia Evart in honor of her siblings, Alan and Lisette, SDF created and promotes National Siblings Day, observed annually on April 10.

    Inspired by the spirit of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, SDF works to develop, nurture, and sustain the lifelong bond between brothers and sisters, while encouraging families to come together and honor these unique relationships. The Foundation also seeks to unite and reunite siblings separated by distance, adoption, circumstance or interpersonal familial issues.

    National Siblings Day has been supported over the past by American Presidents, the governors of 49 states, mayors, senators, and numerous public figures and celebrities, and has achieved global visibility across major social media platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Tumblr, and LinkedIn.
