    Description

Celebrate Father's Day! Volunteer as a group, team or class to shop and make Gift Bags for dads with a sick child in the hospital

Volunteer as a group, team or class to shop and make Father’s Day Gift Bags for dads who have a sick child in the hospital. Your gift reminds them they are appreciated and supported, especially during a difficult time. More than just items, these gift bags symbolize celebration, compassion and community—honoring their strength and letting them know they are not alone. The smallest gestures speak volumes: “We see you. We appreciate you. You’re doing an incredible job.”

Any one of any age, any time, any where can volunteer to shop and make Father's Day Gift Bags.

We welcome your group, team or class to make and donate as many bags as you choose. Thank you for volunteering!

    STEP 1:

Shop and fill each brightly colored paper gift bag with the items below and finish by adding tissue paper.

Substitute any 3 smaller items with a $10 Starbucks gift card.

    • 1 men's body wash (16+ oz)
    • 1 men’s deodorant (2+ oz)
    • 1 men's shaving cream (9+ oz)
    • 1 pack of men's razors (2+)
    • 2 packs of pocket tissues
    • 1 hand sanitizer (1+ oz)
    • 1 pair of nail clippers
    • 1 lip balm
    • 1 pair of men's socks
    • 1 notebook and 2 pens
    • 1 brain teaser
    • 2 packs of beef jerky
    • 1 pack of trail mix
    • 1 bar of chocolate
    • 1 pack of mints
    • 1 pack of gum

    STEP 2: (Optional)

Include a handwritten/hand decorated There With Care printed note card in each bag. Please ask for supplies of printed note cards.

On the note card write: Happy Father's Day! or Happy Father's Day to a great dad!

Write your first name, age (minors only), and, if relevant, the name of your group, organization, school or company, and the city.

Decorate around the words with colorful designs/images.
