    Description

    Fundraising Director

    The Fundraising Director leads efforts to secure the financial resources needed to sustain

    and grow the organization’s mission. This board member develops and oversees fundraising

    strategies that inspire generosity, strengthen donor relationships, and support long-term

    financial stability.

    Responsibilities include planning and coordinating fundraising campaigns, identifying grant

    opportunities, cultivating donor and sponsor relationships, and supporting fundraising

    events and initiatives. The Director works closely with leadership to align fundraising goals

    with organizational priorities and community needs.

    This role also involves tracking fundraising performance, exploring new revenue

    opportunities, and ensuring donor communications are clear, meaningful, and mission?driven. The Fundraising Director helps build a culture of gratitude, transparency, and

    ongoing engagement with supporters.

    Ideal candidates bring experience in fundraising, development, nonprofit work, or

    relationship-building, along with creativity, organization, and strong communication skills.

    This is a mission-focused role dedicated to expanding resources and sustaining impact.

    This role may oversee or collaborate with:

    Grant writing or grant research volunteers

    Donor relations or stewardship coordinators

    Fundraising event planning teams

    Sponsorship and partnership coordinators

    Crowdfunding or campaign support volunteers

    Marketing and communications team for donor outreach
