WordPress Developer (for updates)

Menzies Philanthropic Foundation is in it's non-profit startup stage and is looking for volunteers to help keep our website and IT department going and up to date.

Reporting to the Founder with a primary focus on supporting the Menzies Philanthropic Foundation (MPF) digital strategy, execution of the IT infrastructure, and business systems technologies.

You will help in managing every aspect of Menzies' computer and information systems. Their duties include evaluating IT projects, working alongside the technology development team, and developing and implementing new technology.

The WordPress Developer is needed to maintain and occasionally update the digital content on external-facing websites. Leverage Elementor templates on WordPress sites and load content.

• WordPress Developer Duties & Responsibilities
• Organize and manage web development
• Making site updates, structural and aesthetic
• Verifying usability and optimization for sites, landing pages, and forms
• Optimizing SEO
• Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS
• Custom WP themes when absolutely required (most work is done using Elementor)
• Assist with making our WordPress site integrate with Social Media to maximize automation.
• Update Plugins and WordPress versions to protect the security of the site.
