Description
Working one-on-one with the same student each week to build a supportive relationship.
Helping the student improve in one academic area, such as reading, writing, or math.
Encouraging the student's confidence, motivation, and engagement in learning.
Attending a weekly 40-minute tutoring or mentoring session, either in person or online.
Being reliable, patient, and maintaining a consistent schedule so the student can depend on the volunteer.
