    Description

Do you enjoy helping others learn and feel more connected in today’s digital world? Join our Traveling Tech program and make a meaningful impact by teaching seniors how to use computers, social media, email, software, and everyday apps on their devices.

We partner with Wood Library and senior living facilities to offer hands-on digital support to older adults who may be unfamiliar or uncomfortable with modern technology. Our mission is to empower members of our community by helping them build confidence and digital literacy, so they can stay informed, engaged, and connected.

    Program Details:

The Traveling Tech program rotates weekly between the following locations:

    • Ferris Hill – Wednesdays, 3:00–5:00 PM
    • Quail Summit – Wednesdays, 3:00–5:00 PM
    • 80 Parrish Street – Wednesdays, 3:00–5:00 PM

As a Traveling Tech volunteer, you’ll guide seniors through the basics of digital tools in a friendly, supportive setting—no formal teaching experience needed, just patience, enthusiasm, and a willingness to help.

    • This volunteer opportunity will be a traveling Tech. We are looking for volunteers who are available every Wednesday between 3pm-5pm.: 15:00 to 17:00 EST
