Description
In our residential home, we have girls that come from very special circumtances and need someone that is compassion and undertanding to help with their homework, planning events; arts and crafts, sport music and maybe plan for a summer program with the assitant of program director, for other children in the Community. Candidate would have to share a big Dorm with the girls who range from 10 yrs to 14 yrs old. the group is small- Also would help with some cleaning during the week. All meals preps are done by our cook. the person also will need spiritual back ground and some social work or psychology is helpful.

we are a nonprofit organization based on New Jersey state, but work abroad in the Dominican Republic . For the past 14 years.we work with the less fortunate and underprivelige children thoughtout the country but now focus on our Residential home ,where we house girls that are victim of abandonments, neglect and sexual and physical abuse. Our mission is to offer a safe heaven where they can be protected ,and vision is to restore them to become empowered ladies. the ages range from 8 years old to 12, and sometimes we take adolesecent on a transitory phase. Since we have a big dorm, we ask the volunteer to share it with the girls, of course volunteer has its own bed and bathroom within the Dorm. the House is spacious on a 1.2 acres of land. surrounded by mountains and beaches nearby. . All interested volunteer must have a Doctor physical examination, Letter of good conduct by their government agency and fill out our Volunteer form. a short intro video would be helpful.
