    Position Overview

    The Marketing & Insights Analyst is responsible for analyzing marketing data, tracking performance, and generating insights that inform decision-making across campaigns and initiatives.

    This role focuses on transforming data into clear, actionable insights that help improve marketing effectiveness, audience engagement, and overall performance.

    Operating at the intersection of data analysis, marketing performance, and strategic insight, this role is critical to ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Marketing Data Analysis
      • Analyze data from:
      • Campaign performance
      • Social media
      • Website analytics
      • Identify trends and patterns
    1. Performance Tracking
      • Track key metrics such as:
      • Engagement
      • Reach
      • Conversions
      • Monitor campaign effectiveness
    1. Insight Generation
      • Translate data into actionable insights
      • Identify what is working and what needs improvement
      • Provide recommendations
    1. Reporting & Dashboards
      • Create and maintain:
      • Reports
      • Dashboards
      • Ensure data is clear and accessible
    1. Campaign Analysis
      • Evaluate performance of marketing campaigns
      • Identify strengths and weaknesses
      • Support optimization efforts
    1. Data Accuracy & Validation
      • Ensure data is accurate and reliable
      • Validate sources and metrics
      • Maintain data integrity
    1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
      • Work with:
      • Marketing team
      • Content creators
      • Leadership
      • Align insights with strategy
    1. KPI Development & Tracking
      • Help define and track key performance indicators
      • Align metrics with organizational goals
    1. Trend Identification
      • Identify trends in:

      • Improve reporting and analysis processes
      • Enhance efficiency of data workflows

      • Present data in a clear and visual format
      • Use charts and dashboards effectively

    Volunteer Commitment Expectations

      • Estimated Commitment: 10-15 hours per week

    Minimum Qualifications

      • 1–3 years of experience in:
      • Data analysis
      • Marketing analytics
      • Reporting
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Experience with:
      • Spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel)

    Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience with:
      • Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media analytics)
      • Data visualization tools
      • Experience in nonprofit or marketing environments
      • Experience in remote teams
