    Description

    We are looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to bring comfort and joy to our hospice patients through the healing power of pet therapy. If you have a trained therapy pet and would like to make a difference in the lives of those in our care, we would love to hear from you!

    Our hospice patients find great comfort of the unconditional love and companionship of pets, and we believe your furry friend can bring a sense of peace and warmth to those who need it most.

    Requirements:

    • Your pet must be a certified pet therapy animal. Will need up to date paperwork and shot records.
    • You must be willing to volunteer your time and share the joy of your pet with our patients.
    • A background check, online training, drug screening and TB test are required and provided at no charge.

    • Group Size Range: 1 - 50+
    • Event can be held at a volunteer group location (e.g. office, park)
