    Description

Do you love to sing? (with the CD, radio, in the car, in the shower!) Do you play a musical instrument? (especially one that's easy to carry!) And most important of all...do you enjoy putting a smile on someone's face? Then you have come to the right web page because Elara Caring, a leading care provider in the Midwest, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time. You can share music with a hospice patient in a local nursing facility or patient's home. Enrich the lives of our patients through discussing their favorite music, having patient singalongs, playing your favorite instrument, or playing music through Pandora, Spotify, etc.

If you are part of a choir, our patients would really love to hear your group at any one of the facilities which we service. It would mean so much.

Hours are very flexible, weekdays, evenings or weekends. If coming as an individual, we ask that you visit your assigned patient 1-2 hours per week or two times a month. If you would like to come as a duo, trio, quartet, etc., you are more than welcome!
