    Description

    Purpose:

    Help secure the financial resources and strategic partnerships needed to sustain and grow The Mind Initiative's programs, resources, research initiatives, and community impact.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research grants, sponsorship opportunities, and funding sources aligned with TMI's mission.
    • Assist with grant applications, funding proposals, and sponsorship outreach.
    • Identify potential donors, sponsors, and community partners.
    • Support fundraising campaigns, donation drives, and fundraising events.
    • Create sponsorship packets, fundraising materials, and donor communications.
    • Track grants, sponsorships, donations, and fundraising progress in Notion.
    • Oversee Fundraising Volunteers and provide guidance on fundraising initiatives.
    • Post weekly progress updates in Slack and communicate regularly with the leadership team.
    • Collaborate with department leaders to support organizational growth and sustainability.

    Department: Development & Partnerships

    Reports To: Executive Director

    Time Commitment: Approximately 2–5 hours per week

    Qualifications:

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Interest in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, public health, education, or community impact.
    • Comfortable researching opportunities and communicating with external organizations.
    • Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to take initiative.
    • Prior fundraising, grant writing, or leadership experience is welcome but not required.
