The Arete Living Arts Foundation is offering volunteer opportunities for two actresses to work on a music video shoot. We are creating a series of socially conscious music videos that carry messages that we believe are important to express. Examples of the issues are prescription drug addiction, racism and bigotry, the dumbing down of culture by the mass media, and nihilism in small town America.
The roles: One middle ages actress to wear a wig with curlers in it, a moo moo type housedress, glasses, and a facial cream mask. The actress will be speaking on a telephone and lip sync the words, "hi this is Amber call me at 1-900-24-VIXEN."
The other role is for a woman (20 to 50 age range) to wear a professional looking shirt and pretend to speak into a telephone lip syncing the words, "good morning this is your early morning wake up call."
Each role will take about a half an hour to film. The shoot date is October 26th. And the call time will be late afternoon.
