Kaiser Permanente Hospice is dedicated to ensuring that our patients and their families feel supported and received the best care possible. In an effort to ensure comfort and quality care, our hospice volunteer program is looking for volunteer who would feel comfortable calling patients residing at home each week between Wednesday morning and Friday 12noon, to check in regarding supplies and medication needs going into the weekend. If you have experience with making customer service calls or feel you would be a good candidate to make these weekly calls for support please reach out to find out how you can become involved.
Hospice patients are those who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness and a life expectancy of 6-months or less. Hospice volunteer can also visit for socialization, companionship, caregiver relief, and so much more. These tuck-in calls are weekly touch points to our patients. This posting is for the Tri-Central service area which consists of the Downey, Baldwin Park, and South Bay service areas.
