    Description

    Hillcrest Weeding Party

    Community Weeding Party!

The sedges and elderberries along the paved path at Hillcrest Park are looking lovely! Now's the perfect time to yank those pesky radishes out so the natives can really thrive.

So we’ve scheduled a community weeding party for Saturday, February 28th, from 9 to 11am. With the ground so soft and moist, the weeding is easy, even for elementary-aged children. Bring your favorite weeding tool if you like—but a quick grab-and-yank is often all that’s needed.

    Location

    On-site

    Hillcrest Community Park

2050 Olivera Rd, Concord, CA 94520, USA
    Directions

Park in the lot off Olivera Rd that's closer to Grant St and Matteo's Dream Playground. Walk south a few yards on the paved path and look for the Friends of Concord Creeks banner!
