Student Success Support

Participate in learning and play with our After School Students from

3pm-6pm during the school year. These young scholars need more than someone to teach them

arithmetic; studies have shown that young people are transformed by having a trusted 3rd-party

adult. Make young friends for life and be a person they’ll never forget.

How do I know that I’m a good fit? We seek those who are cross-culturally competent, enjoy

impacting young people, and are patient with young learners. If you’re looking for a short daily

or weekly way to touch lives, this might be your best option.

What’s the Time commitment? With our young people, consistency is key. Even coming one day

a week for two hours can make an impact. Our students come 3 hours every weekday, so there’s

the opportunity to commit between 3 hours and 15 hours weekly.

What level of skill do I need? Children teach us as much as we teach them. Reading a book

together or working on basic arithmetic are impactful. If you have special skills in technology,

computing, robotics, art, crafting, or other hobbies we will gladly provide you a platform to share

that with our youth.
