    Description

    Position Title:

    Web & IT Officer

    Position Summary:

    The Web & IT Officer will be responsible for managing BluShues’ website, overseeing IT systems, supporting internal digital tools, and ensuring smooth technological operations across the organization. This role is essential in maintaining efficiency, security, and proper integration of systems used by volunteers and leadership.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage, update, and maintain the BluShues website to ensure functionality and professional presentation.
    • Oversee the creation and management of official BluShues email accounts for volunteers.
    • Support the implementation and management of internal systems (e.g., Slack, Google Drive, tracking systems).
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide IT support to volunteers and leadership.
    • Ensure proper organization and security of digital files and systems.
    • Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordination team for onboarding-related IT needs.
    • Assist in integrating new tools and technologies to improve organizational efficiency.
    • Maintain data privacy and security standards across all platforms.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Experience in web development and/or IT support.
    • Familiarity with website platforms (e.g., WordPress, Wix, or similar).
    • Knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, and general IT systems.
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Good communication and ability to support non-technical team members.
    • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.
    • Alignment with BluShues’ Christian values and willingness to sign a Statement of Faith.
