Community Ambassadors in Long Beach, CA

Help connect your community to more opportunities to get involved!

Community Compass is looking for two volunteer Ambassadors in Long Beach, California, to help residents discover local opportunities to get involved and keep the Long Beach Community Page on CommunityCompass.org useful and up to date.

What you'll do:

• Share Community Compass as a resource with neighbors and community members.
• Help research and update local organizations and groups on Long Beach's Community Page.
• Promote community involvement through social media, local events, and outreach.
• Share your own volunteering experiences and help others find local groups and opportunities that match their interests.

Time commitment: About 4 hours per month, with a flexible schedule and a mix of remote and in-person activities. A commitment of one year with the option to extend.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves Long Beach, enjoys connecting with others, and wants to make it easier for people to get involved in the community.
