Description
Fairytale Farm Rescue & Sanctuary provides lifelong care for rescued rabbits and special-needs farm animals. Many of our residents have physical disabilities, medical conditions, or unique care requirements and depend on dedicated volunteers to help them thrive.
We are seeking organized, compassionate volunteers to help support our rescue intake and communications efforts. This role plays an important part in helping animals receive the care they need by assisting with rescue inquiries, intake coordination, and communication with members of the community.
Responsibilities
- Respond to rescue inquiries received through email, social media, or other communication channels
- Gather and organize information about animals needing assistance
- Assist with intake documentation and record keeping
- Communicate with rescue team members regarding intake requests
- Help maintain accurate records and follow-up communications
- Support adoption and rescue outreach efforts as needed
- Assist with general administrative and communication tasks
Ideal Volunteer
- Passionate about animal welfare and rescue
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable and compassionate
- Comfortable learning rescue intake procedures
- Able to maintain confidentiality when appropriate
- Experience with customer service, administration, communications, or nonprofit work is helpful but not required

Time Commitment
Flexible scheduling available. We are seeking volunteers interested in ongoing involvement and can accommodate weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly commitments.
