MAKE PHONE CALLS ON THURSDAYS FOR HOSPICE

Capital City Hospice is seeking volunteers to make weekly phone calls each Thursday.

Each week, home patients are contacted to ensure that they have all necessary supplies and medications for the weekend. With a script/check list, volunteers call these patients to 'check in' and to be sure all needs are met before the weekend. Calls can be made from home or our office.

Many patients look forward to these calls...the familiar voice of their Capital City friend!

Fifteen volunteers are needed to call the approximately 120 patients who are on the "Tuck-in Call" list. The calls are brief and to the point, helping the clinical team know what each patient may need for the weekend.

Volunteers must attend an orientation (scheduled each month at our office), have TB & drug screenings as well as fingerprinting (all at Capital City's expense). Call (614-441-9300)or email (cch-vc@addus.com) for more information or to register for an upcoming orientation.

Instructions:

Tuck-in Calls are made each Thursday and information from the calls is reported to our clinical team by end of the day. Volunteers making these calls ensure that our staff can provide home patients all they need for the weekend.
