    Description

    Calling all Craft and Sewing Lovers!
    • Are you a compassionate crafter with a love for sewing and helping others? Amedisys Hospice is looking for volunteers to create Memory Bearshandmade teddy bears (or pillows) sewn from clothing of loved ones who have passed away. These keepsake bears bring comfort and healing to grieving families by preserving a tangible connection to their loved ones.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Receive donated clothing from families
    • Sew teddy bears using provided patterns or your own
    • Return completed bears to be gifted to families

    Amedisys will cover all of the costs- we just need YOU!

    • Group Size Range: 1 - 50+
    • Event can be held at a volunteer group location (e.g. office, park)
    • Event can be held at organization location(s)
