Nonprofit
Entry Level Cross-Cultural Curriculum Specialist
Details
Description
This role is ideal for anyone who wants to work on curriculum, learn about other countries and cultures, and visit elementary schools. This position is also great for former educators who want to stay connected to the field, but with a flexible schedule.
Are you passionate about storytelling and making a meaningful impact?
The Worldview Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting greater cross-cultural awareness, understanding, and engagement, is seeking Curriculum Developer Volunteers or Interns to help grow our Cultures in the Classroom program.
Cultures in the Classroom fosters greater cross-cultural understanding and appreciation among 3rd- to 5th-grade students. Through the program, children will explore the diversity of world languages, geography, traditional art forms, food, family relationships, and everyday customs. They will have an opportunity to engage with Cultural Ambassadors, who grew up in another country.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience connecting Cultural Ambassadors with elementary school classrooms throughout San Diego County. Working with our team, you'll help share the stories, impact, and opportunities that inspire curiosity, celebrate diversity, and bring the world into the classroom.

- Create content for the Cultures in the Classroom program.
- Design and update Canva documents and slides.
