    Do you enjoy helping others? Do you believe all people should have access to nutritious and healthy food? If so, come help community members gather groceries in a supportive environment!

    Play a vital role at the Lift UP food pantry serving people experiencing food insecurity in Northwest and Downtown Portland! Assist our team of dedicated volunteers with maintaining pantry "flow", assisting with food selection, restocking food, and making all clients feel welcome in our shopping-style pantry.

    This role provides a unique opportunity to connect with other volunteers and clients accessing services.

    We are seeking one volunteer to regularly assist on Tuesdays from 2-6pm, one for Thursdays from 2-6pm, and two people to regularly assist on Fridays 2-4:30 or 2-6pm, and occasional subs for each of those days. This role requires the ability to lift up to 40lbs intermittently and stand continuously for four hours.
