    Associate Producer / Researcher

Location: Atlanta, GA preferred | Production Team

We’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented Associate Producer / Researcher to help develop accurate, engaging content for our shows and creative productions.

This volunteer role will support the production team through music research, current music news, Top 10 lists, song credits, artist and music history, research packets, and fact-checking. You’ll help ensure our content is interesting, well-sourced, accurate, and ready for production.

    What You’ll Do

    • Research current music news, artists, songs, albums, trends, and industry developments.
    • Develop and verify Top 10 lists, rankings, themes, and show-related research.
    • Research song credits, including writers, producers, performers, release information, and other relevant details.
    • Research artist backgrounds, music history, cultural context, and notable moments.
    • Create clear, organized research packets and briefing materials for producers, hosts, writers, and creative teams.
    • Fact-check scripts, talking points, captions, show notes, and production materials.
    • Verify names, dates, statistics, credits, quotes, and historical information before publication or production.
    • Identify credible sources and document research so information can be easily verified.
    • Support producers with story ideas, segment development, and background research.
    • Track relevant music and entertainment developments that may create timely content opportunities.
    • Maintain organized research files, sources, and reference materials.
    • Help build repeatable research and fact-checking standards as the production team grows.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
    • Genuine interest in music, entertainment, pop culture, or media.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to factual accuracy.
    • Ability to distinguish reliable sources from rumors, speculation, and unverified information.
    • Comfortable researching artists, songs, credits, charts, trends, and music history.
    • Ability to summarize large amounts of information into clear, production-ready materials.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Able to manage multiple research assignments and deadlines at the same time.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in journalism, media, music, entertainment, research, content production, or communications.
    • Familiarity with music charts, credits databases, entertainment publications, and primary-source research.
    • Experience supporting producers, writers, hosts, podcasts, digital shows, or video productions.

    Why Join Us?

You’ll have the opportunity to help shape the stories, facts, and ideas behind our productions, deepen your knowledge of music and entertainment, strengthen your research portfolio, and work directly with a growing creative production team.
