    Description

    Social Media Manager

She served. She sacrificed. She came home — and the world forgot to ask her story.

Invisible Warriors is a grassroots movement on a mission to change that. We honor and uplift women veterans; warriors whose courage carried them through service, and whose resilience carries them still. Their stories deserve more than silence. They deserve to be seen.

We're looking for social media experts with heart to help us make that happen.

This isn't just an unpaid volunteer role. It's a chance to pick up your camera and do something that matters -- to sit across from a woman who has lived through more than most of us can imagine, and help her tell the world who she really is. Not just a veteran. Not just a survivor. A whole person, rebuilding, rising, and worth every frame.

What we hope to have a team do for Invisible Warriors:

    • Help create and maintain a social media plan
    • Use social media to promote the activities and achievements of Invisible Warriors
    • Keep our social media channels updated frequently
    • Encourage others to comment on our posts and share them with others
    • Ensure that communication reaches a wide range of local stakeholders and a diverse audience
    • Develop and manage content for our social media, such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
    • Take part in teleconference meetings with committee members
    • Track the effectiveness of our social media work and recommend ways forward
    • Test content and review its impact
    • Keep up-to-date with events and news, and choose what to promote through our social media feeds
    • Visit our projects and attend our events with a view to writing articles about them, if possible
    • The ability to develop publicity materials is an asset
