    Description

Kingdom Faire is a live immersive festival experience that brings together performers, artisans, and community members for a weekend of theater, storytelling, and celebration. Now operating under Rising Tide Theatrical Collective, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the festival is built on a commitment to accessibility, creativity, and a fair and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the gates.

None of that happens without volunteers.

We are looking for people who want to be part of something from the inside out. Whether you want to be front and center welcoming guests, working behind the scenes keeping operations moving, or helping us build and break down the world we create together, there is a place for you here.

    What Volunteering Looks Like

Volunteers are matched to roles based on their interests, availability, and strengths. We ask that you come ready to be part of a team, take direction from your area lead, and show up with the same energy and spirit that makes Kingdom Faire what it is.

Below are the areas where we are actively seeking support. If something you are passionate about is not on the list, we want to hear about it.

    Volunteer Areas

    Customer Experience

This team is the face of the festival. You are often the first and last person a guest interacts with.

    • Box Office: Handling ticket sales, will call, and guest questions at point of entry
    • Check-In: Welcoming guests, scanning tickets, and directing foot traffic at the gate

    Pub Team

The festival pub is one of the most active and social spaces on site. This crew keeps the energy going.

    • Game Master: Running interactive games and activities for guests in and around the pub space
    • Hawker: Moving through the crowd, engaging guests, and promoting the pub experience

    Operations

The engine room of the festival. This team keeps things moving across the entire site.

    • Production Assistants: Supporting the production team across multiple needs including food prep, running supplies and materials between areas, and crowd flow management

    Setup and Strike Team

These are the people who build the world and take it down. It is hard work and some of the most satisfying.

    • Setup: Assisting with installation of sets, props, signage, and operational infrastructure prior to opening
    • Strike: Breaking down and loading out equipment, sets, and materials at the end of the event

    Parking and Grounds

Helping guests navigate arrival, parking areas, and site logistics from the moment they pull in.

    Open Suggestions

Have a skill or interest that is not listed above? We encourage you to tell us. Festival production covers a wide range of needs including photography, social media, accessibility support, first aid, and more. If you see a way to contribute, we want to know.

A Note on What We Stand For

Kingdom Faire is built on a few core values that do not bend: fair treatment for all participants, a safe and inclusive environment, and an experience that is accessible to our community. As a volunteer, you are part of upholding those values every single day of the festival
