    Mission

DC Collaborative is a service organization for arts and humanities supporters who are committed to advancing equitable access for DC public school students. We envision a future where the arts and humanities are essential to public education, producing creative, innovative, and active members of a more equitable and vibrant society

    Impact

For 27 years, DC Collaborative’s measurable impact has included expanding outreach to DC public schools, ensuring that thousands of students experience relevant programs, and growing our network of community partners.

    Value

DC Collaborative addresses inequitable access to effective education, which includes arts and cultural experiences. Our model is built around three core components: education program facilitation, professional development for educators and partners, and data-informed advocacy. Through this interconnected model, the Collaborative strengthens the arts education ecosystem—ensuring teachers and cultural partners have the tools and support they need to thrive. By supporting schools, students, and partners holistically, we are cultivating a learning environment where engagement, belonging, and creativity are possible for every DC student.
