    Description

    Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? Join our team as a Hospice Volunteer and provide comfort, companionship, and support to patients and their families during a critical time.

    As a hospice volunteer, you may:

    • Offer companionship through conversation, reading, or simply being present
    • Provide respite for caregivers
    • Assist with administrative tasks at the hospice office
    • Support bereavement programs
    • Make "Tuck-In-Calls" on a regular basis to ensure the patient has adequate supplies prior to the weekend or holiday
    • Light housekeeping (washing dishes, doing laundry, vacuuming)

    No medical experience is required - just a compassionate heart and a willingness to help.
