    Volunteers should be willing to engage, communicate, and learn about Reach for Resources. Review two short intro videos before starting and participate in occasional monthly tasks or projects based on availability.

    About the Opportunity

    Reach for Resources is seeking enthusiastic and connected individuals to join our Community Engagement Committee. This group helps strengthen connections in the community, increase awareness of our programs, and support engaging, inclusive events.

    Committee Goals

    The Community Engagement Committee is focused on:

    • Expanding community awareness of Reach programs and services
    • Building and strengthening relationships with local businesses and community partners
    • Supporting and promoting events and opportunities to get involved
    • Increasing community presence through outreach and engagement activities

    Areas of Focus

    Members can choose to be involved in one or more areas, including:

    • Community outreach and partnerships
    • Event support and promotion
    • Sponsorship and in-kind connections
    • Tabling and representing Reach at community events (training provided)

    What You’ll Do

    As a committee member, you may:

    • Help spread the word about Reach programs and events
    • Make connections within your network to support outreach efforts
    • Assist with tabling at community events such as Pride and local fairs
    • Support events like our Pickleball Classic, Winter Online Auction, Puzzle Palooza and more
    • Identify potential partners, sponsors, or community opportunities

    • Those interested in supporting inclusive programs and events
    • No prior committee experience needed
