Description
HEALthy Hearts Thrive (HHT) is seeking dedicated, compassionate volunteer tutors to support students and adult learners in under-resourced communities.
We are currently looking for volunteers in the following areas:
- Reading & Literacy
- Math
- Computer & Digital Skills
- Study Skills / Academic Coaching
- GED and Test Prep (a plus)
We are also seeking volunteer mentors for skilled trades, including but not limited to:
- IT / Technology
- HVAC
- Welding
- Electrical, Construction, Automotive, and other trades
Who We’re Looking For:
- Tutors, teachers, college students, retirees, or professionals with experience
- Patient, encouraging, and culturally responsive
- Passion for community service and empowerment
- Ability to work with youth and/or adults without judgement
- Reliable and professional
