    Description

    Administrative & Social Media Volunteer (Houston-Based)

    Cornerstone Family Resource Center

    Cornerstone Family Resource Center (CFRC) is seeking one or two Houston-area volunteers to assist with administrative and communication support for our community programs serving families in affordable housing.

    This role supports a child- and family-serving nonprofit and requires professionalism, reliability, and respect for confidentiality.

    What You’ll Help With

    1. Data entry and basic activity tracking
    2. Scheduling community events and programs
    3. Posting updates on Facebook and Instagram
    4. Helping prepare simple monthly reports

    Location

    1. This is a hybrid role:
    2. Some tasks may be done remotely
    3. On-site work at Premier on Woodfair Apartments (Houston) will be required for training and some activities

    Time Commitment

    1. About 4–6 hours per week
    2. Flexible scheduling

    What We’re Looking For

    1. Based in the Houston area
    2. Comfortable using Google Docs, spreadsheets, and email
    3. Basic familiarity with Facebook or Instagram
    4. Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
    5. Able to respect confidentiality when working with families and children
