    Description

    About Us

LoopTroop Inc. and LoopRoots Foundation are part of a growing social-impact network dedicated to improving transportation, housing, food access, and wellness for families impacted by incarceration and poverty.

Our creative team builds mission-driven campaigns and digital products that merge design, advocacy, and technology to create lasting community impact.

We believe design can change lives — and we’re looking for passionate creatives to help us tell stories that matter.

    About the Role

We’re seeking a Graphic Designer (Volunteer – Hybrid Role) to join our expanding creative team.

In this role, you’ll design digital and print assets for campaigns, programs, and app interfaces that support initiatives like LoopFood, LoopHousing, LoopLegal, LoopTalk, and the LoopTroop Rideshare App.

You’ll work closely with the Creative Director, UI/UX Team, and Marketing Department to craft visuals that inspire engagement, communicate hope, and reflect our vibrant brand identity.

This is a volunteer position (20–25 hours per week) with the potential to become a paid role post-launch, based on performance and available funding.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conceptualize and design high-quality visuals for web, social media, and print materials.
    • Create brand-aligned graphics, illustrations, infographics, and layouts for campaigns and app content.
    • Collaborate with the Creative Director and marketing team to develop cohesive visual storytelling across all Loop programs.
    • Support UI/UX designers in creating icons, interface assets, and mobile app visuals.
    • Maintain consistent brand guidelines across projects.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for upcoming campaigns.
    • Prepare and deliver final design files suitable for both digital and print use.

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience as a graphic designer or visual designer (agency, nonprofit, or startup experience a plus).
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma.
    • Strong eye for typography, color, layout, and composition.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Passion for social impact design and storytelling that creates change.

    What We Offer

    • Opportunity to use your creative talent for community impact.
    • Collaboration with an innovative, mission-driven team.
    • Real experience building a national brand from the ground up.
    • Flexible hybrid schedule (remote with occasional meetings).
    • Pathway to a paid role post-launch, based on performance and funding availability.
