Description
SparkScope is an educational youth-led initiative that shares accessible STEM-related content, academic tips, and youth voices through creative media. We're launching our very first podcast, and we're looking for a passionate and organized Podcast Manager to lead the way behind the scenes.
As the Podcast Manager, you’ll be the one keeping our episodes on track—coordinating with hosts, scriptwriters, and editors to make sure everything runs smoothly. You’ll help schedule meetings, assign episode tasks, and ensure the final audio is ready for release every two weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the podcast production timeline
- Come up with episode themes and content ideas aligned with SparkScope’s mission
- Coordinate between scriptwriters and hosts
- Schedule team meetings and deadlines
- Ensure audio is submitted, reviewed, and published on time
- Provide feedback and support to team members
- Keep communication clear and consistent
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable with team communication and follow-ups
- A good listener and motivator
- Bonus: interest in STEM, education, or podcasts!
What You’ll Gain:
- Leadership experience in a creative media project
- The opportunity to shape a youth podcast from the ground up
- Certificate of participation + certificate with your volunteer hours
- Letters of Recommendation upon request
- A collaborative, supportive team environment
- A platform to spotlight meaningful topics and voices
If you’re excited about managing a meaningful podcast project with a growing platform, we’d love to hear from you!
