Social Media Volunteer Role

Position Title: Social Media Volunteer

Location: Remote

Time Commitment: Let us know what you can do. 1 hour/ week is fine, but more is great too.

What You Can Do Now is looking for help with expanding our online presence. If you can't get off social media and want to put it to good use, reach out! We value creativity and different viewpoints.

Your responsibilities can include one or more the following (let us know what you are comfortable with):

• Help with brainstorming and developing engaging and informative posts, graphics, and videos to promote ways for people to take action.
• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers to help create a community
• Work with the team to plan and execute campaigns and ways to reach a wider audience.
• Stay updated on trends and news related to current affairs and other groups taking action.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrable proficiency in using social media platforms (Bluesky, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• If you're terminally online, this is the role for you.
• Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with design tools (like canva) is a plus
