By engaging with lawmakers, sharing information with your community, and supporting MADD's public policy efforts, you'll play an important role in creating meaningful change.

MADD's Legislative Action Team is a group of volunteers who work alongside MADD staff to advance legislation that addresses impaired driving and strengthens support for victims and survivors. Volunteers influence laws, help raise awareness, educate decision-makers, and encourage community involvement around important traffic safety issues.

    • Learn about impaired driving legislation and MADD's policy priorities.
    • Communicate with elected officials and community leaders about important traffic safety issues.
    • Share advocacy opportunities and updates with your personal networks.
    • Participate in advocacy campaigns, meetings, and legislative outreach efforts.
    • Help build community support for policies that prevent impaired driving and save lives.
