    Description

Do you have a heart for supporting others during some of life's most difficult moments?

Wings Over Virginia Hospice is looking for Chaplain & Spiritual Care Volunteers to provide compassionate presence and support to hospice patients and families.

    As a volunteer, you may:

    • Spend time with patients through conversation and companionship
    • Offer a listening ear and emotional or spiritual support
    • Support patients and families who are experiencing grief and loss
    • Respect and honor each person's individual beliefs and values
    • Provide comfort, encouragement, and a compassionate presence
    • Help patients feel heard, valued, and supported

You don't need to have all the answers. Sometimes, simply being present and willing to listen is the greatest gift you can give.

If you have a heart for service and a desire to walk alongside patients and families, we'd love to hear from you.
