    Description

Mission Outreach Researcher – Identify Learning Hub Operators and Mission Partners (Remote)

    About the Role

As a Mission Outreach Researcher, you help GoodHands identify locally active organizations, initiatives, and potential learning hub operators who may align with our mission. Your work supports a structured outreach process: building a reliable research pipeline so that verified operators can be invited into the GoodHands Mission Forum and supported through clear participation pathways.

This role is research-focused and ideal for volunteers who enjoy careful online discovery, structured documentation, and mission-oriented systems thinking.

    What You Will Do

      • Search online for locally active initiatives in underserved contexts (NGOs, community groups, grassroots learning actors)
      • Identify potential Learning Hub Operators and mission-aligned local initiatives
      • Collect and document reliable contact details (email / contact forms / social profiles)
      • Capture structured reference data (mission focus, location, continuity, target group, credibility signals)
      • Flag which contacts appear to be Operators vs. Multipliers/Enablers (service clubs, churches, networks, umbrella NGOs)

    Where You May Research

      • Websites and public directories
      • Local NGO networks and education/community pages
      • LinkedIn (optional, helpful, but not required)
      • Public social profiles (when relevant)

    What You Will Not Do

      • No outreach messaging unless assigned later
      • No persuasion work or partnership negotiation
      • No data scraping tools required
      • No fundraising

    What You Need

      • Strong attention to detail and consistent documentation
      • Comfort working with structured lists and simple templates
      • English required (other languages helpful)
      • Interest in education access, community-based learning, and practical impact systems

    What We Offer

      • Clear search criteria + simple templates
      • Practical contribution to a real mission pipeline
      • Flexible remote volunteering (results matter more than fixed hours)
      • Support and feedback loops as you improve your research quality
