Description
Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York is hosting its annual Stock Market Challenge on FRI, March 27th, 2026 at UAlbany's Broadview Center. This is an exciting simulation of the NY Stock Exchange, involving about 500 students from 11 high schools! Volunteers will be needed for the following:
- 8:15 am - 12:00 am Bus Greeters and Help Desk crew (print out student portfolios)
- 8:45 am - 12:00 pm Floor Traders (using a tablet, volunteers will enter in the students' stock purchases)
- 12:20 - 2:00 pm Clean-Up crew
All shifts require walking / standing with the exception of the Help Desk Crew.
Trainings will be provided upon arrival. No need to be knowledgeable in the stock market, but you must be comfortable with electronic devices to be a Floor Trader.
