On a monthly basis, we ask that you post 5-25 flyers, postcards or bookmarks throughout the region. When or where is up to you! Our group will meet up on the first Tuesday evening of each month to refill your supplies and celebrate successes.

Become An Ambassador and Help Children Build Better Futures

If you are looking for a flexible yet impactful volunteer opportunity, Shineforth is looking for a few community members who are willing to help us spread the word locally.

We are currently recruiting volunteers to post flyers in local businesses – coffee shops, community boards, libraries, gyms, retail stores and other public spaces that allow paper postings. It’s a simple but powerful way to help us reach more people and expand our impact.

What’s involved:

Picking up a small batch of flyers from our South Hill office
Asking local businesses for permission to post
Placing flyers on approved bulletin boards or display areas
Provide us with the names of locations you have posted

This is a flexible opportunity – you can choose locations near you and work around your own schedule. Simply posting a few flyers makes a big impact.

We’re grateful for your interest in Shineforth and our Ambassador program. We’re looking for enthusiastic community members who want to help share our mission and raise awareness for the children, families, and caregivers we serve across Southwest Virginia.

As a Shineforth Ambassador, you will help spread the word about our work and be part of a meaningful effort to support stronger families and brighter futures.
