    Description

    Use your skills to help secure funding for Empowher Enterprises Inc. As a Grant Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in turning opportunities into impact by researching funders, drafting proposals, and creating materials that connect our mission to their priorities. Your work ensures vital resources reach those who need them most.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research & Align: Identify potential grant funders and review guidelines to match mission priorities.
    • Craft Compelling Proposals: Draft letters of intent, proposals, and supporting materials that inspire action.
    • Tell the Story: Gather impact data and stories to strengthen proposals and donor reports.
    • Stay Organized: Track deadlines, maintain grant records, and keep materials archived for easy access.
    • Collaborate for Success: Assist with donor visits and share mission stories when needed.

    Qualifications

    • Strong Writer: You communicate clearly and confidently in writing.
    • Detail-Oriented: You notice the details that make a big difference.
    • People Skills: You work well with others and communicate effectively.
    • Multi-Tasker: You’re comfortable coordinating different activities at once.
    • Deadline-Driven: You can stay focused and deliver quality work under tight timelines.
    • Tech-Savvy: You’re confident using Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Trustworthy: You handle sensitive information with care and confidentiality.

    • Play a significant role in helping Empowher Enterprises Inc carry out its mission to to break generational cycles of disempowerment by equipping girls and young women, especially those impacted by foster care, homelessness, and economic hardship, with the tools, confidence, and community they need to thrive.

    • Gain professional fundraising experience

    Indefinite, potential board membership consideration.
