    Playing in the streets is strictly encouraged! Join Us for Sunday Streets SF: Excelsior Edition - Season Finale!

    Since 2008, Sunday Streets has transformed San Francisco’s streets into car-free community spaces, bringing neighbors together for a day of connection, movement, and fun.This street closure offers a safe space locally for everyone to enjoy: dancing, biking, skating, walking, hula hooping, or yoga, amongst other fun open air activities.

    This city event is free to anyone.

    Activities include:

    • Bike maintenance
    • Bike rentals
    • Children's Games, Hula Hoops
    • Outdoor Yoga
    • Dance Lessons
    • Live Performances and Cultural Exhibits
    • Pet Programs
    • Arts & Crafts

    Sunday Streets SF is known for its free, fun events empowering local communities to transform miles of streets into car-free community spaces for kids to play, seniors to stroll, organizations and businesses to connect and neighbors to meet. A program of the nonprofit Livable City presented in partnership with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency and the City and County of San Francisco, Sunday Streets SF has grown into a beloved institution since its start in 2008.

    • Hub Support 8:00am - 12:00pm, 1:30pm - 5:30pm
    • Route Manager 9:00am - 1:30pm, 1:00pm - 5:30pm
    • Route Rabbits 9:00am - 1:30pm, 1:00pm - 5:30pm
    • Route Assistant 10:00am - 2:00pm, 1:30pm - 5:00pm
    • Mystery/Outreach Shift 10:00am - 1:30pm, 1:30pm - 5:00pm
    • Recycling Raven 10:00am - 1:30pm, 1:30pm - 5:00pm

    Sunday Streets volunteers will receive the following perks throughout the season:

    • Limited-Edition Sunday Streets T-shirt per Sunday Streets season
    • Free meals; 1/per event from SF based/local to the neighborhood eateries (vegetarian and vegan options available upon request)
    • Invitations to Exclusive Livable City Events
    • Special Tokens of Appreciation for recurrent volunteers
