    Description

The KeelWorks foundation is a ship and a wonderful metaphor for the foundation. Unfortunately, many it is outdated and wasn't designed with practical usage in mind. They may be right. We need someone with some knowledge of logos, artistic design, the ability to come up with creative solutions from vague descriptions of need. In other words, someone with the incredible patience required for creative design that satisfies management. We need a design that suggests the nautical theme, is modern, works in all the practical ways a logo must, and suggests adventure and journey in an understated way. It also needs to look good on shirts and hats. It needs to be cool.

How to Volunteer for This Opportunity

Thank you for reaching out. Of the many excellent applicants, we can't use all in exactly the way that they would like, we are limited by opportunity. We can only fill those positions listed on the website (see link below). If you don't see an opening that exactly suits you, consider a role that could support career success.

If you are rejected for the opening you select, you can email the volunteer.coordinator@keelworks.org to suggest an alternate choice.

Even if there isn't a slot that suits you, I am committed to helping you. So email thomas.garrod@keelworks.org for advice on how to induce other organizations to take you on.

Before applying, please be sure you are:

    • Ready to start at the time of application (or at least within the week).
    • Willing to commit to at least three months.
    • Willing to work at least 10 hours a week (20, for those on OPT) .

NOTE: OPT participants will need confirmation of participation for the portal AFTER you leave.

If you are ready to start, apply on our website.
