    Description

We are looking for a skilled Website Designer & Digital Architect to serve as the builder of our "digital front door." Our goal is to transform our online presence from a traditional church website into a modern, communal gathering space platform. You will ensure that our services, resources, and community initiatives are presented in an organized, concise, and professional fashion so that visitors can easily find their place in our mission.

Key Responsibilities * Strategic Planning: Audit and restructure the current site map to ensure community resources, panel discussions, and campus offerings are easy to find and logically organized.

    • Brand Voice: Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure the digital platform incorporates inclusive language and a, community-first tone.
    • Digital Presence: Perform a comprehensive "touch-up" and visual refresh of the current website to improve functionality and aesthetics.
      • Ensure the site is fully responsive and mobile-friendly to engage a diverse, modern audience.
    • Engagement: Simplify the user journey (UX) to foster easier connection and registration for campus events, such as our Fellowship Hall panel discussions.
    • Visual Storytelling: Integrate graphics and layouts that reflect our commitment to supporting our community and building a "gathering space for all."

What We’re Looking For: A heart for community building and social justice (specifically LGBTQAI+ and youth inclusion).

    • Experience in web design, information architecture, and digital design.
    • Proficiency with modern CMS platforms (e.g., Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, or similar).
    • Ability to work independently, set goals, meet deadlines, and bring "big ideas" to the leadership team.

Why Volunteer With Us? Your work will serve as the primary gateway for individuals looking for support and community. By organizing our digital home, you are directly helping those who feel disconnected from traditional Christian churches find a home and a voice on our campus.
