🚗 Volunteer Opportunity: Meals on Wheels Delivery Drivers – Fridays (Norman P. Murray Senior Center – Mission Viejo)

Are you looking for a meaningful way to connect with your community and brighten someone's day? We are looking for compassionate, reliable Volunteer Meal Delivery Drivers to join our Meals on Wheels team operating out of the Norman P. Murray Senior Center in Mission Viejo.

When you deliver a meal, you are delivering much more than food—you are providing a vital wellness check and a cheerful, friendly connection for homebound seniors in our community who often cannot leave their homes.

The Commitment and Details

• 📍 Location: Norman P. Murray Senior Center, Mission Viejo
• 🗓️ Days Needed: Fridays (2 openings)
• ⏰ Shift Hours: Approximately 9:30/10:00 AM – 1:30/2:00 PM (your site manager will confirm your shift once you’re approved)
• 🚗 Role: Permanent Friday Drivers: commit to a regular Friday route and build a consistent relationship with the seniors you serve.

Requirements to Get Started

To ensure the safety of our clients and staff:

• Drivers must be 18 years or older.
• We require a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Completion of an online Volunteer Application and background check.

Riding Along: Non-driving volunteers 16 and older may ride along without a parent or guardian. Volunteers under 16 are welcome with an approved parent or guardian present.
