    Description

    Bristol Hospice San Antonio is seeking compassionate Pet Therapy Volunteers to visit hospice patients in their homes, facilities, or care centers.

    As a Pet Therapy Volunteer, you and your certified pet will:

    • Offer emotional comfort and companionship to patients and their loved ones
    • Help reduce stress and anxiety through gentle visits and interaction
    • Brighten someone's day simply by sharing your pet's calming presence

    Requirements:

    • Pet must be certified through a recognized therapy animal organization - MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF CERTIFCATION
    • Current veterinary records and vaccination documents are required
    • Completion of volunteer orientation, background check, TB screening, and online training (provided by Bristol Hospice)
