    Description

    Hospice Volunteering is Fun!

Hospice Volunteers are the heart of hospice. They help make the end of someone's life the best. From water balloon fights to karaoke to playing bridge to wheelchair dance parties to one last hurrah, volunteers honor the full humanity of patients and help us celebrate it.

Making someone's day often only takes intention and showing up. Our volunteers get to do that every week all over central Arkansas. They are also trained in the fine art of colluding to bring job and friendship to people near the end of their lives.

In hospice, we treat death as a natural part of life, one that we don't rush towards or run away from. If you like people and feel the same, hospice volunteering is for you!
