Description
Job Title: QA Manager Volunteer
Location: Remote
Department: Game Development
Reports To: Game Development Department Director
Type: Internship (Part-Time) (Unpaid)
Duration: 4 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- The quality-assurance manager will oversee the final stages of game development including polishing and bugfixing.
- QA Managers will work with a variety of different teams on different projects within the Game Development division and may involve PC or VR projects.
- The primary responsibility of a QA Manager is to ensure the quality and reliability of a game project for the consumer, making sure that every part of the game behaves smoothly and as intended by the developers.
- QA Managers will work alongside programmers, artists, and designers to track issues and create fixes for those issues.
Requirements:
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for working among different teams.
- Strong organizational skills for recording and keeping track of issues and bugs found during the polishing and bugfixing stages of development.
- Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
- Basic familiarity with game development processes such as design and programming.
- Basic familiarity with the Unity3D game engine.
