Description
YOU DON’T HAVE TO SWING A HAMMER TO HELP HABITAT FOR HUMANITY BUILD HOMES. ReStore Arlington Heights is a resale store of new and gently used Furniture, Home Accessories, Appliances and Building Materials with all proceeds going to fund Habitat for Humanity in our area.
- Volunteers are needed to support all of the reselling efforts to increase these proceeds.
- Volunteer tasks are focused on our mission to make sure that "Everybody deserves a decent place to live!"
- Shifts: Serve as little as every other week for 3 to 4 hours.
- Training: "NEW TO RESTORE ORIENTATION" is held once a month to give you all you need to know to get started. On your 1 st day you work with Volunteer Mentor.
- Court ordered Community Service: ReStore accepts those individuals that need to complete 30 hours or more. Must serve at least 4 - four hour shifts per month. (minimal 16 hours per month)
- IDHS and other government programs: ReStore accepts those individuals that need to complete 20-30 hours or more per week.
