    Instructions:

Lutheran Hospice is a non-profit and faith-based program serving people of all faiths since 1995, is not a place, but a philosophy of compassionate, person - centered care. We focus on quality of life and comfort for individual and their families who are dealing with life-limiting illnesses, and no longer choose to seek curative treatment.

We serve not because it is as a job, rather because it’s a calling!

Our trained volunteers are an integral part of our team devoted to fulfilling the goals and wishes of our patients and families. Hospice volunteering goes beyond the service given to patients and families, it is learning to live making each day count in our own story. In a way it is life training.

Volunteers chose the hours they can serve, we request a minim of three hours a month, to keep you connected to both our patients and our team.

Our requirements meet national standards for service with this special population, so volunteering is a sizable commitment with greater rewards.

It is a process to become a volunteer and we are looking for people who have the desire to form a long term relationship with our TEAM and Families. Feel free to call me with any questions.
